Along the lines of world changing, and all that happy stuff
Could we make a web vendor/auctioneer that lets you buy and sell your lovely stuff(crap) using paypal and other options that ebay and amazon have perfected, so we can “borrow” their money transfer model, but it also allows the seller to select a percentage of the profit to be donated to a charity right then and there when the transaction is processed? So when you post the item you select the percentage or dollar amount and you pick a charity from the drop down menu then VIOLA you’re a better human and you’ve made the world a better place by donating a dollar to save the world foundation. Also, when purchasing there could be a ‘change the world button’ that you just click and theres another dollar towards the charity. For simpole lovely seemlessness the charities would need a paypal account/comparable service.
The main discussion around the validity of this would be if people would actually care enoughto use it. Keep in mind not everyone hates gays and coloured people like in Alberta. In other places around the world, there is some sort of human brothership. Think west coast culture/people with disposable funds/not in a history smashing depression
